UTP15 is needed for optimal pre-ribosomal RNA transcription by RNA polymerase I, together with a subset of U3 proteins required for transcription (t-UTPs). This entry represents the C terminal of UTP15, and is found adjacent to WD40 repeats (pfam00400).
