Description: G1 phase occurring as part of the mitotic cell cycle. G1 phase is the interval between the completion of DNA segregation (mitosis in a mitotic cell cycle) and the beginning of DNA synthesis. A mitotic cell cycle is one which canonically comprises four successive phases called G1, S, G2, and M and includes replication of the genome and the subsequent segregation of chromosomes into daughter cells.
