netrin-activated signaling pathway

id: GO:0038007
name: netrin-activated signaling pathway
namespace: biological_process
type: go
obsolete: False

Description: The series of molecular events initiated by the binding of a netrin protein to a receptor on the surface of the target cell. The pathway begins with binding of a netrin to a cell surface receptor and ends with regulation of a downstream cellular process. Netrins can act as chemoattractant signals for some cells and chemorepellent signals for others. Netrins also have roles outside of cell and axon guidance.
