inositol phosphate-mediated signaling
id: GO:0048016
name: inositol phosphate-mediated signaling
namespace: biological_process
type: go
obsolete: False
Description: A series of molecular signals in which a cell uses a water-soluble inositol phosphate to convert a signal into a response. Inositol phosphates are a group of mono- to poly-phosphorylated inositols, and include inositol monophosphate (IP), inositol trisphosphate (IP3), inositol pentakisphosphate (IP5) and inositol hexaphosphate (IP6).
