Description: G1 phase occurring as part of the meiotic cell cycle. G1 phase is the interval between the completion of DNA segregation (meiosis in a meiotic cell cycle) and the beginning of DNA synthesis. A meiotic cell cycle is one in which canonically a cell replicates to produce four offspring with half the chromosomal content of the progenitor cell.
