Description: G2 phase occurring as part of the meiotic cell cycle. G2 phase is the interval between the completion of DNA synthesis and the beginning of DNA segregation (meiosis in a meiotic cell cycle). A meiotic cell cycle is one in which canonically a cell replicates to produce four offspring with half the chromosomal content of the progenitor cell.
