Description: A SWI/SNF-type complex that directly interacts with the vitamin D receptor (VDR) through the Williams syndrome transcription factor (WSTF), and mediates the recruitment of unliganded VDR to VDR target sites in promoters. The WINAC complex contains at least 13 subunits, including WSTF, several SWI/SNF components, and DNA replication-related factors.
